Welcome to the website for the National Honor Society chapter of Cooper City High School.
Important: Anyone interested in tutoring 8th grade Pioneer Middle student and is willing to travel, contact Ms. Cohen or Ms. Farmer for details. This is a paid position.

the day to turn in projects/hours is coming up... so everyone participate! All hours/projects will be due December 15th.
That being said...here's how:
November 18 is Brain Brawl Round 2 @ McArthur HS 4 PM. Come support/watch/possibly help and get a project and 3 hours :)
The canned food drive is THIS WEEK ONLY! Turn in your cans to the LIBRARY in the pretty box that says NHS canned food drive 11/17-11/21. Bring them in a bag with your name on the outside! :)
SUPER BOWL of caring is this Wednesday (11/19). If you buy a ticket and attend you receive 3 hours, if you volunteer you get 5 and free entry to the event :)
Tutoring is still going on every Thursday (except early releases) in Ms. Cohen's room after school (room 3427). You can stop by to see if help is needed even if you haven't signed up.
Also this Thursday starts dramas Fall show, Shakespeare's Macbeth. It's at 7 pm in the auditorium. If you want to go just say you're from NHS and your ticket will be $5 which includes refreshments :) The days you can go include Thursday Nov. 20, Friday Nov. 21 and Saturday Nov. 22. The show starts @ 7, but be there by 6:30 to get the discount and preferred seating.
Soccer ball collections are still going on. You can turn them in to the MAIN OFFICE (there's a big, decorated box). We will also be having a work day soon to deflate/send them to troops.
Soda tabs are also still being collected, preferably by December 11. Turn them into the soda tab box that is located in the LIBRARY at the big desk. Remember to put them in a plastic bag with your name & number of soda tabs clearly labeled.
SCIENCE FAIR judges for elementary science fair projects will be needed for the dates of December 15 and January 7. It's a field trip event on both days (so you will miss school). December 15 judging is for Cooper City Elementary, and January 7 is TBA. You'll get lots of hours so keep this one in mind. The paperwork for this project will be handed out at our next meeting (next Monday, November 24!)
